Using the guide
HIV Travel brings together source-based country summaries, medication contacts and community experiences. It is general research information, not personalised medical or legal advice, an immigration decision or a guarantee of entry, treatment access or safety.
Rules can change and may depend on your passport, visa, destination and length of stay. Check the linked sources and relevant authorities for your circumstances. Speak to your clinician about medication and treatment. Our Sources & approach page explains our categories and the limits of the evidence.
Community contributions
If you submit information, follow our Contribution guidelines. Share material you have the right to share and avoid identifying other people. We review submissions before publication and may edit or decline them. Publication requires the contributor’s separate permission.
Community accounts describe individual experiences. They are not statements of law or evidence that a restriction will or will not be enforced. The Privacy notice describes how submissions are handled.
Donations
Donations are optional and do not buy medical advice, preferential moderation or influence over our country classifications. You choose a one-off or monthly payment and see the amount and frequency before paying through Stripe.
Monthly donations continue until cancelled. Use the “Manage or cancel monthly support” link on the Donate page to manage or cancel future payments through Stripe. Cancelling future payments does not itself refund a completed payment. We do not represent donations as tax-deductible.
External links
Linked websites are operated by other organisations. They have their own content, terms and privacy practices. A link is a research reference, not a guarantee or endorsement of a service.
Updates and corrections
We may update these terms and the guide as the project changes. The date above identifies this version. You can suggest a factual correction through the contribution form. Nothing here removes rights that applicable law gives you.
